History
Cranston Engineering was established in 1984 with two manual lathes. Bevan Clarke joined in 1996 and continued his passion in CNC design and machining.
In 2006 Bevan and Katrina bought into Cranston Engineering and have never looked back.
There has been investments made into CNC mills, lathes, robots, and software helping the business move forward.
Bevan is an expert in CNC machining and will go out of his way to ensure your design works. He will add his expertise to your new designs to make them as efficiently as possible.

What we do
As CNC machinists, Cranston’s machines components for products that our clients sell throughout New Zealand and around the world. Tow balls are an example.
We take your designs, check them and, if required, improve them, machine the part, pack and deliver. In some cases, it is more cost effective to do large runs which are stored as stock for you to access when needed.
Small runs or thousands, are treated with the same care and precision. Right, first time, is the key to efficiency. Our technology and expertise allow us to create whatever is needed.
